1. We believe that groups are a part of God’s call for the function of the church. When examining God’s call for the church in Scripture we see an emphasis on the collection of local believers. Within this local framework are two distinct functions. Those functions are discipling/equipping and community/reliance on one another. One major way we see these accomplished is through groups.
2. We believe groups are a part of God’s call for the lives of Christians. Through groups at Marcus Pointe, we strive to make it possible for you to be connected to a community of believers, grow in your faith, live your faith out, and share the gospel with others. Groups are the connection point and training ground for you to be who God has called you to be.
3. We believe that groups are a part of God’s call for the outreach of the gospel. Through groups, we are able to reach people who would never come on a Sunday morning. Relationships are able to be built through groups and the gospel is able to be shared one on one!
