MAKING AN IMPACT
MAKING AN IMPACT
Thank you so much for your support in our ministry. We take each offering as a major blessing to what we are trying to accomplish. We have been called by God to do great things in and around our community and none of it would be possible without your financial support. Every penny of your tithe will be put to great use for God's work in our lives. We pray and thank God for our congregation everyday. Without you all there would be no church. You are the church.
The principle of giving is so much more than simply meeting the financial needs of the church. Both the Old and New Testament are filled with teachings on giving. Tithing and giving Offerings have been an important part of the responsibility the Children of God since before the nation of Israel was formed. Abraham gave tithes of all he had in Gen.14:20. There is a direct link between giving your tithes and offerings and your spiritual life as a Christian. Jesus taught on giving often because He knew this would be an area where our hearts would struggle.
Here at Marcus Pointe we believe giving tithes and offerings for ministry needs like Missions, Building fund, Christmas Gift for Jesus and many other special outreach projects is part of our worship, part of how we experience the joy of the Lord in our daily walk. The greatest opportunity we have today as Christians is to give not because we have too, but because we get too. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

This challenge is simple; if you are not tithing faithfully right now we ask that you tithe for the next 90-days. If at the end of the 90-days you don’t believe that God has honored your faithfulness in your tithes we will return 100% of the tithe back to you, no questions asked.
The Bible teaches the principle that everything we have belongs to Him and that we ought to give our first and our best to God through tithes and offerings.
The 90-day challenge is based on the verse in Malachi 3:10. “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”
In this verse the Lord says bring the tithe into my house and test me. He says that He will bless you for your faithfulness.
Tithing is about training our heart to trust Him first in our life. We all work hard for what we have, God is calling on us to trust Him first and foremost with everything. So for many the idea of giving God the first 10% to Him seems overwhelming. Its never about how much we give its about giving the first 10% to Him faithfully. In 2 Corinthians 6:6-8 He teaches His desired plan for you and I.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 - But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
God’s desire is that we have joy in our faithful giving of our tithes and offerings. Not because we have too but because we get too.
WAYS TO GIVE:
We have several ways in which you can give your tithes and offerings to continue your support of our ministry. We offer these options to make it as convenient for you as possible:
Option 1: Giving during any worship service. There are tithing envelopes in the pews that you may use to enclose your tithes and offerings.
We also offer boxes of tithing envelopes so you can have a designated giving number assigned to you. An assigned giving number offers an added level of privacy as you give.
Option 2: Online giving at www.pensacolachurch.org . If you are going to give frequently online you need to create a profile. On the home page click the online giving box and create an online profile. Once you have a profile you can choose the amount, designation and giving method.
Option 3: Place your giving envelope in one of the donation boxes in the main hallways of our building. These donations boxes are secure and are emptied regularly.
Option 4: Text "mpbcgive" to 73256. Click on the link that you receive in the text reply.
Option 5: Send your donations by mail to: Attention Finance Department, Marcus Pointe Baptist Church, 6205 North “W” Street, Pensacola, Florida 32505
