MP Kidz

Hello Parents,

We want to thank you for checking out our website today at Marcus Pointe Baptist Church. Our children’s ministry here is called MP Kidz. Our vision is Jesus. Period. To help kids know, love and live like Jesus. In MP Kidz, we desire to see families on fire for God. We do this through intentional and impactful teachings on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. We offer at home resources to help you as a parent be the primary faith trainer in the home. We also have a lot of fun! In MP Kidz Littles we provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment for infants 6-weeks-of-age to K5 while also helping parents have meaningful faith talks at home.

Nursery Sundays

The curriculum we use for Sunday programming is called Bible Adventure!

9:00AM is designed as a small group service. Every small group has:

• fun Bible story crafts and activities

• a visit to the Clubhouse for Bible story and worship

10:45AM is designed as a large group service. Every small group has:

• a visit to the Clubhouse for Bible story and worship

• playtime in the covered playground or gym

• a yummy snack

Preschool Sundays

The curriculum we use for Sunday programming is called Bible Adventure!

Both the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM services have small group and large group elements with:

• Fun classroom crafts and activities
• A visit to the MP Kidz Theater for Bible story and worship
• A ride down the MP Kidz Slide
• Gym/playground time
• Crafts and activities in both services are different so kids who attend both services learn the Bible story in different ways.

What to expect: In MP Kidz Elementary we provide a fun, safe, and engaging environment for 1st-5th graders while also helping parents have meaningful faith talks at home.

Sundays

The curriculum we use for Sunday programming is called Go! Both the 9:00 Am and 10:45 AM services have small group and large group elements with:

• Small group Bible study
• Fun classroom activities
• Grade specific discipleship
• High-energy worship
• Live Bible story message
• Time of group prayer

We share the same Bible story in both services on Sunday, but do so in many different ways to help keep kids engaged and learning!

We have a pre-teen ministry called DOCK 45 where 4th and 5th graders have their own ministry and fun game space just for them. DOCK 45 also hosts exclusive events and exciting activities throughout the year, providing a unique and enriching experience for our young members.

NURSERY

Our Wednesday curriculum goes hand in hand with the Bible app for kids! We intentionally chose this program so that throughout the week you can follow up with your child at home about what we are learning.

Your child will experience:

• sensory activities

• yummy snacks

• crafts and activity pages

• fun games

• a visit to the Wonder Clubhouse for Bible story and worship

CENTERSHOT

This is one of the most exciting kid’s ministries we have to offer at Marcus Pointe! It's every Wednesday night at 6:30 PM.

Centershot teaches kids to take aim in life by learning the skill of using a bow and arrow. Experience the thrill of instant gratification when your arrow hits its target. If your kids have an interest in archery, then Centershot is for them!

MP KIDZ PRAIZE JR & MP KIDZ PRAIZE

Our MP Kidz Praize ministry provides musical and spiritual learning experiences, group interactional, toward a common goal and an appreciation for congregational singing and worship.

In both our Jr and Elementary programs your child will experience:

• large group singing and worship

• small group activities and games

• biblical learning experiences

• Christmas musical with drama, choreography and group worship

• springtime night of worship

While all of our Jr and Elementary have the same large group worship experiences, they have their own small group activities and games. Kids are dropped off in our upstairs elementary classrooms beginning at 6 pm. There they will have fun pre-service games, activities, and more! Then they move to the MP Kidz theater for a fun and engaging practice time! Then they dismiss back to their elementary classrooms for check-out.
