The only reason we don't have revival is because we are willing to live without it. - Leonard Ravenhill
2020 has been a year for the books. While our 2020 theme word was FOCUS it felt more like chaos would have been a better fit. But it was our focus on the steadfastness of the Lord that has helped us navigate all of the uncertainty and turmoil that 2020 had to offer.
Now we are standing on a new year. As we prepare for 2021, I want our church family to focus on a new word in January... REVIVE. Revival is considered to be an awakening out of sinful slumber, a restarting of spirtual power and a return to Biblical authority. Sometimes revival is associated with short-ter meeting or revival services. Reviving is a long-term change.
I cannont think of something more necessary in our church, county and country today than that. I hope we can see God continue to do amazing things in our midst as we turn from worry to wonder and from fear to faith in 2021.
It's my sincere hope that you will commit to the following things.
• Study your Bible daily
• Spend time in prayer daily
• Worship God privately and corporately
As we turn our focus towards God in 2021, I truly believe that he will show up in our lives, in our families, in our businesses and in our church.
See Ya!
