Men’s Basketball League

Our Men’s Basketball League is one of the best in town. We have two leagues: the open league is for men ages 18-up, and the over thirty league is for men 30 and over. The season begins every January and runs eight games with a double elimination tournament at the end. The cost is $375 per team. Little League

The Marcus Pointe little league season for 2012 is upon us and registration has started.  All league play is conducted at Hillcrest Baptist Church off nine mile road this includes all practices and games.  Practices are held normal after 3pm and last for one hour depending on the coach.  Once a team and coach are decided information will be provided on time and day of practice.  All games will be played on Saturday between 8am-2pm (depending on weather).

The price for each children is located on the flyer and will include a Jersey shirt and trophy cost.  Any additional expenses to include special letters/numbers on the back will depend on the vendor.  There is an opportunity for your children to have team and individual photos done and this is an additional cost.  Flyers from the photographer will be handed out later in the season and you can make your choices at that time.

Practices will begin the week of the 20^th of February 2012.  Opening day for this year’s league is scheduled for 17^th of March 2012.

Varsity league which is grades 9-12^th will begin playing on the 16^th of March 2012.  All games are played on Friday nights.

This year the divisions have been divided using the grade system of your child.  Each team is allotted a total of 15 children, so I encourage you to register your child early if you want them to be on a particular team.  On the signup sheet you will notice an area to include other teammates if you want to par your child up with another.   Some changes to note are the addition of the coach pitch division, girls modified pitch softball and the varsity division is no longer a co-ed division.

Marcus Pointe Baptist Church gives children the opportunities they might not receive in city league baseball.  At Marcus Pointe, every child is a winner!

Men’s & Women’s Softball

Men’s and Women’s softball is a great way for adults to stay active.  As we get older sometimes we neglect our health and well being.  Softball in the springtime is a great way to stay active and build healthy relationships with other adults.  Every March, our men and women would love for you to come and join them for fun and fellowship on the softball field.
