Our purpose is to use the arts as a communication tool for God’s glory!
It is the purpose of our music and worship ministry to point people to Christ through the creative arts. Worship is the vehicle which ushers us into the presence of Almighty God, prepares our hearts to hear from God, and points lost people to God through Jesus Christ.
Psalm 34:1-3

CELEBRATION CHOIR
If you have a passion for worship and a desire to help lead the church in praise … then come join the Celebration Choir!
As a Marcus Pointe member, you have the opportunity to be part of one of our most dynamic ministries in the church. We are seeking people who have a passion for praise to come alongside us as we lead our church family. By being involved in our music ministry you will be impacting countless lives for the glory of God!
The Celebration Choir is open to all adults & teenagers (junior high and up). This group sings for our 9:15 AM Sunday Worship Service. In addition, the choir sings for seasonal presentations. No experience is necessary to be a part … just be willing to sing the song in your heart and be faithful.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at 6:45 p.m. in the Choir Rehearsal Room. Come by, pick up some music, sit in a rehearsal, and see if the Worship Ministry is where God is leading you!
CELEBRATION ORCHESTRA
The Celebration Orchestra is open to all adults and teenagers who have a degree of proficiency in playing a musical instrument. Anyone interested in participating in the orchestra will need to audition for our orchestra director (to insure enough skill to read the music we use and to play on pitch). The orchestra provides the support, the background during worship. It creates the feeling of what the music is all about. It sets the tone and creates all the underpinnings of what the vocalists can do. This specialized musical group is a tremendous asset to our music ministry. The orchestra accompanies praise and worship as well as choir numbers for all Sunday services. Its members also provide music for our special music on occasion. Our orchestra director, Dallas Roper, is an accomplished musician/conductor. Orchestra rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM in the Orchestra Room.
PASSION SINGERS
Our Passion Singers help provide the music in our new Passion Service. This service is designed to help you connect with God through a unique production each week. We are actively looking for new singers for this service.
